DESCRIPTION

R-407C is a zeotropic (mixture with components that have different boiling point) & HFC refrigerant blend consisting of HFC-125 (23%), HFC-32 (25%), and HFC-134a (52%).

R407C is predominantly used in commercial and residential air conditioning systems, as well in industrial conditioning systems and has very similar properties to R22.

R407C is suitable for use in new equipment. It can also be used to retrofit some old R22 systems with an oil change. This refrigerants are using Polyolester (POE)oil. It is a Non-flammable refrigerant with a safety classification of A1.

R407C is less harmful to the environment than R22 and the values of global warming of R407C is similar to that of R22 but the ozone depletion potential is zero. With the quota enforced decrease in R22 use, R407C has been used as an alternative to R22 in new equipment, it is also being used to replace R22 in some existing system retrofits.
